Nabeeha Kazi Hutchins
Director

Nabeeha Kazi Hutchins is managing director of Humanitas Global Development, an international development consulting firm based in Washington, DC. She has deep roots in healthcare and international development leading initiatives across the United States and in the Caribbean, Central and South America, Eastern Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

Her experiences include health program and policy development, maternal and child health interventions, health disparities, public-private partnership development, nutrition and food security advocacy, social marketing, community mobilization and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to Humanitas, Nabeeha served as senior vice president and partner at global communications firm, Fleishman-Hillard. In 2003-2005 Nabeeha worked with the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative to develop the Dominican Republic's national HIV/AIDS care and treatment plan. She supported HIV/AIDS initiatives in Haiti, South Africa and Rwanda. Additional professional experience includes serving as co-lead for the Romania team on a special project for UNICEF involving anti-child trafficking initiatives in Eastern Europe and working as a consultant for a security policy organization, the EastWest Institute. Nabeeha also has worked for the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) in Mexico.

At the age of 29, Nabeeha was selected as one of the 40 most influential and accomplished leaders in Kansas City under the age of 40. In 2006, she was honored by PR News at the National Press Club in Washington, DC as one of the “15 Stars to Watch” in the communications and advocacy field and was selected in 2007 as the Asian American Professional of the Year by the Asian American Chamber of Commerce.

Originally from Pakistan, raised in Mexico, and fluent in four languages, Nabeeha has traveled to more than 25 countries and worked in five. She is a Phi Beta Kappa undergraduate of Kansas State University, where she majored in journalism and political science. She has dual master’s degrees in public health and international affairs from Columbia University in New York City.

Nabeeha lives in Washington, DC with her husband, Coleman, and daughter, Sanah.
