Here’s how we might use your gift to support the U.S.-based fellowship for the Pakistani Daniel Pearl Fellow:

  • $ 5,000 will cover the five month stipend.

  • $ 4,000 will cover the costs of a U.S.-based Computer Assisted Reporting (CAR) course.

  • $ 2,000 will cover the costs to attend the Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) conference.

  • $ 1,500 will purchase a round trip international airline ticket between Pakistan and the United States.

  • $ 500 will purchase a U.S. domestic airline ticket.

  • $ 350 will purchase health insurance.

  • $ 250 will cover the U.S. cell phone costs.

  • $ 130 will cover the cost of a J-1 visa.

  • $ 50 will sponsor a one-year membership for to the Investigative Reporters and Editors.

PAYPAL. Make a donation from your bank account or using a credit card with PayPal.* You will need to establish a free PayPal account. Click on the yellow "donate" button below which will take you directly to the AFPF PayPal donation page. When you make your donation, please indicate that it is from you. PayPal then notifies AFPF that a donation has been made. PayPal keeps 3% of the donation as their fee.

SEND AFPF YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS AND AUTHORIZATION. We will manually enter them into Click and Pledge which keeps 4.75% of the donation as their fee.
