"Reflections on American Journalism"

Each year we ask the current class of Alfred Friendly Fellows to reflect on their experiences in the United States and to compose essays based on those experiences. It is in their American host newsrooms that Fellows learn the practical realities of journalism in this country and the role of the press in our society. We invite you to read their "Reflections on American Journalism" which discuss their observations and opinions of the workings of the American press.
